April Sneaker Top 5 by Erik

Continuing our staff top 5’s is a well known face: Erik. What else to ask him about than sneakers? We have a serious amount of different ones in stock, so time for him to spell out his top 5 of April

1. Salomon XT4 White

The Salomon XT4 and XT6 remain immensely popular in the fashion scene. Newer models like the Salomon ACS Pro are taking away a bit of the limelight, but the all-white variant of the XT4 does its best to claim back that title. Extra cool is the gradient in the mesh, starting in white and ending in a nearly silver colour near the back of the shoe. Combine the all white upper with the vibrant colours on the tongue and Salomon has hit it out the park again. The technical nature of the sneaker, paired with white always reminds me of a Stormtrooper. And Stormtroopers are effing cool.

2. Adidas Gazelle Indoor
We all like earthy colours, easily wearable with whatever we can combine it with. However, in the sea of white and beige, it’s really refreshing to be instantly transported back to the 70’s with neon purple and yellow and mint and highlighter orange colours. These Gazelle Indoor’s are surefire hits, why I also included the ochre yellow variant in my first top 5. Which is your favourite?

3. New Balance M1906RCD
The M1906 is one of New Balance’s newest models. We’ve already featured a few different colourways, but the 1906 really shines in silver. I’ve always liked the ’snelle schoen’ and this right here is definitely a ’snelle schoen’. The sharp edges of the panels make the shoe look like it’s always in motion. And the rough open mesh and silver immediately transports me back to my high school gym sessions.

4.Salomon RX Slide
I dare you to try a mule. A type of slide with a closed upper at the front. It’s all I wear at home all year round. I have three mules which I wear regularly. Why would I need three?! You can start with just the one pair and these Salomon’s are perfect for the job. On holiday, in summer and at home. Comfy as hell. Thank me later.

5. ASICS GEL-Nimbus 9
The blue colour on this Nimbus 9 is so intense it nearly punches you in the face. And walking on a pair of ASICS makes you think you’re walking on a bouncy castle. Every damn step. Need I say more?
