Calico Club’s latest collaboration is one with the legendary Paul & Shark from Varese, Italy. Several years of working together created a close bond with Paul & Shark’s staff, meaning this was the logical next step.

To kick things off, Rolph van Heyster (creative director at Calico Club /), Rick Freriksen (agent for Paul & Shark on behalf of Trench) and cameraman Reno Matitaputty visited Paul & Shark's HQ at DAMA s.p.a. in Varese.
A lot of Calico Club’s movements is based on heritage. Therefore getting access to the immense archives of Paul & Shark was a dream come true. Under the guidance of Enrico Airoldi, General Manager at Paul & Shark, research was done for signature styles of the brand, resonating with Calico Club’s own corner stones.
In addition to the archives, Calico Club got the chance to speak with Andrea Dini, President and CEO of Paul & Shark. Insights were given into the history of the company, the strategic vision, what the future holds for Paul & Shark and his own personal journey.
Six archive pieces were chosen as the starting point for the collaboration. The final capsule collection contains eight pieces and will be available from Saturday 28th of January in both stores and online.
