Yous & Yay In Het Wild - NPO

Yousef Gnaoui & Pepijn Lanen are no strangers to each other, or us for that matter. You know them as artists ’Sef’ and ‘Faberyayo’, two guys have helped shape the hip-hop scene in the Netherlands of the past 2 decades. As you know, artists never stick to their lanes and always branch out. One of those branches has been a podcast which they’ve been doing: Yous & Yay: New Emotions. In their own words: ’very long studio talks with a single person: interesting, inspiring, beautiful or annoying. People from all walks of life, babbling along about nothing or gaining new insights, or more importantly: new emotions.

Their new TV show ‘Yous & Yay In Het Wild’ (In The Wild) adopts the same format, but even better, does it on screen. The walks into the lives of their subjects gets very visual, transferring them to destinations which explain or inspire the person they are interviewing. They’re visually stunning and a welcome addition to the videocast landscape.
