BYBORRE, Dutch textile innovation studio, has confirmed “EDITION11”. This will be the last collection of the in-house label. In the beginning of 2020 we were proud to be one of the first five stockists in Europe. Location for stockists at the time were Barcelona, Berlin, London,...Venlo.

BYBORRE has been challenging the textile industry to be better. It is a key pillar for BYBORRE to be more conscious and transparent within their industry. They want to educate and inform on all levels of the process. The line “EDITIONS” has a role as an instrument for industry change. It served as a showcase for the industries’ future. Every brand could control its entire supply chain and environmental footprint, while creating aesthetic products that fit the brand.
For the last Edition collection “EDITION11” BYBORRE’s team invited artist Dewy Elsinga “BUTTERFINGAZ”. For this collection Dewy’s signature bold, hand-drawn brush strokes were integrated into a knitted textile. BYBORRE’s colour palette was pushed by Dewy that used her outspoken style with bold colours.
The shapes in the collection are familiar but refined. Existing silhouettes led to new constructions taking away ‘design distraction’ aiming to simplify them for production. BYBORRE has developed a collection that is stylish, clean, and artistic while challenging the textile industry to do better.
